Snohomish County has lost a friend, coworker, and mentor. Robert Marshall, known as Marshal Marshall and to the kids, as Firefighter Robert, has passed away. He was a leader in public education, and he touched so many lives through his service. He has made an impact with in our community, and saved many lives.
The Association was formed as a division of the Snohomish County Fire Chiefs’ Association and was established to carry out the fire prevention work of the Chiefs’ Association.
The purpose of the Association is to:
- Promote regional fire prevention and community education within Snohomish County .
- Establish a comprehensive regional youth firesetting intervention programthat will reduce the incidence of fireplay and firesetting by children and adolescents through early identification, evaluation, and treatment.
- Provide training and education regarding investigations, code enforcement and public education, enabling its members to design and deliver effective uniform messages to their communities.
- Provide a forum for regional resources and exchange of information.
